SOLD - 1939 CZ Model 38 Rig - Early Nazi Contract (270861 - 24956)

4/21/23 - This is a very nice example of a CZ Model 38 manufactured in 1939. This one is part of the early Nazi military contract. It is in the proper 250000-291000 serial range and has the proper features, such as high polish finish and Czech Lion proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with two proper magazines and a rare, waffen-proofed CZ 38 holster. "Von" is scratched onto the back of the holster. One of the magazines is numbered on the bottom but not matching to the gun. The has retained about 94% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are tiny scratches and handling marks throughout. Excellent period-correct bakelite grip - no cracks or chips. The bore is shiny with good rifling for the most part, but there are some areas of freckling and pin-pricking.
