Description

2/11/21 - This is a scarce Mauser K98 from 1939 with '243' code on receiver, and Luftwaffe Eagle/L proof on stock. The gun is all matching and original except for the trigger group, which was replaced at some point and has mismatched numbers. The stock, buttplate, bands, bolt, barrel, receiver all match. Excellent finish on the receiver, oddly enough most of the wear is on the trigger group. There is also some surface corrosion near the end of the barrel. Stock is in great shape with sharp waffenamts. Bore is pretty clean with good rifling. Comes with original cleaning rod.
