Description
4/16/26- For sale is a 1940 Swiss soldier's Christmas charity badge. Although Switzerland was not a combatant in WW2, the army was deployed to the borders to ensure Swiss security and these badges were sold to raise funds to provide for their Christmas celebrations. The front of the badge shows a Swiss soldier in a Stahlhelm while the back says "Soldier's Christmas" in French, German, and Italian, the languages of Switzerland. There is light patina on the metal but no rust or serious damage. The attachment pin on the back is intact and functional. Overall in excellent condition.
