Description

02/06/26 - For sale is a Steyr K98k made in 1940 and chambered in 8mm Mauser. The rifle is well aged and does not have much of its original bluing left. The finish has turned a darker grey and brownish patina. The stock has been sanded but has a nice dark color. There is a faint Eagle/H below the takedown disk.  The bore is fairly bright with strong rifling, but it is darkening and there is a patch of corrosion about 1" from the muzzle. The rifle mostly matches itself, but the bolt is mismatched. There is an unrepaired duffle cut under the rear barrel band.
