Description

3/14/25 - For sale is an early war Steyr K98k made in 1939. The rifle was produced towards the end of 1940 and has all Steyr made components marked with an Eagle WaA623. The rifle is in great shape with a nice bluing throughout with plum accents on the bolt stop lever and extractor. The stock has plenty of dings and nicks but is in great condition overall. Bottom of the stock is stamped with the serial and an Eagle WaA623. There are two Additional Eagle WaA623 stamps below the take down disk along with the Eagle Swastika stamp. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers stamped from the front sight post down to the action screws but the handguard is not numbered.
