Description

12/22/20 - This is an excellent example of a JP Sauer K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The chamber is dated 1942 and has the script "CE" JP Sauer factory code. There are waffen proofs throughout, including a faint one on the stock. It is completely matching. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. It has retained the majority of its high polish finish, but there are areas of thinning and handling marks/light scratches here and there. The stock is excellent. There are just light handling marks throughout and one small chip on the left side. The gun comes with an original sling, front sight hood, and cleaning rod. The bore shiny with strong rifling, but there are areas of minor pitting here and there.
