Description

8/20/20 - This is an original Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military proofs. The slide is marked with an "AC 42" Walther factory code. Comes with a proper wartime Walther magazine. This gun has a difficult finish to rate because there are areas of discoloration throughout. Some of it could be thinning, but we believe it is mostly spotty patina showing through the finish. It is most noticeable on the barrel, top of the slide, and right side of the frame. There is general thinning on the front strap. There is a few very small spots of pin-pricking on the left side of the slide. Excellent Walther grips that are not waffenamt. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
