Description

3/25/22 - This is an excellent example of a Czech BRNO M98/29 rifle that was part of the Iranian contract order in the 1930's. This one is all matching (including the stock) and comes with an original cleaning rod. It has the proper Persian insignia on the receiver. There is a very faint import mark on the underside of the barrel and an added serial number on the left side of the receiver. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. The bluing is bright and beautiful. There are a few small spots of wear along the barrel and a series of tiny dings on the underside of the front barrel band. The wood stock is nice, but there are tiny bruises and scratches throughout. The bore is stone-mint.
