Description
3/30/22 - This is a late WW2 production K98 made by Sauer. The rifle is all original finish and all matching except for the bolt assembly. The wood stock is not numbered, but it is waffen proof stamped on the underside of the butt-end, as well as "H" Heer army stamped on the right cheek of the buttstock. The stock has a few normal signs of aging, mild dings, and mild sanding throughout but no major issues. The hand guard has a faint "356" stamped on the interior (matching). The metal has no rust or pitting but is rough in a few areas and has normal finish loss and edge wear. The bore is excellent, clean, and shiny with minimal wear and strong rifling - 9/10 overall.Specifications
