08/11/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1944. The rifle overall is in good condition with a bright rearsenaled phosphate finish on the receiver and barrel. Other parts, like the trigger guard and housing, show a more worn finish. The stock is smooth, having been lightly sanded and treated. The left side of the wrist is stamped SA/GAW, but we believe is illegitimate. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 2, and throat erosion is 1. The rifle is nearly parts correct except for the stock stamp. The Op rod also has the relief cut.
