Description
3/30/22 - This is a nice example of a rare Polish Wz 29 rifle made at the Radom factory and issued to the Polish military in 1935. The gun is almost entirely mismatched. Many of the parts have Nazi military acceptance proofs on them which could mean this gun was reworked for the Nazi military - can't say for sure. There looks like a very faint import mark on the left side of the front barrel band. There is spotty oxidation covering virtually all surfaces of the receiver. Heavy oxidation and some light surface rust on the butt plate. There is wear around the muzzle and minor pin-pricking along the barrel. On the front barrel band, there is discoloration, a couple of light scratches, and some dried adhesive. Spotty oxidation on the rear barrel band. Some thinning and spotty oxidation on the floor plate. The stock is excellent. The numbering on the underside of the butt stock is extremely faint, so it was likely sanded. The top hand guard is a little loose. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting in the grooves.Specifications
