Description

3/30/22 - This is a very nice example of a rare Polish Radom Wz 29 rifle. It was initially issued to the Polish military in 1935. It was later reworked by the Nazis and re-issued to the Nazi military. This is evidenced by the Nazi military acceptance proof on the underside of the wrist of the stock. During the rework process at the arsenal, the gun was refinished and many of the parts were re-numbered to match the gun (including the stock). Almost all parts are matching now except for the floor plate, which was replaced with a German Mauser "byf" marked part. There is light brown patina on the receiver, some light spotty discoloration on the front barrel band, and spotty wear/patina on the floor plate. Heavy brown patina on the butt plate. The stock is excellent with only minor scratches here and there, most noticeable on the right side of the butt stock. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. Comes with a period-correct leather sling.
