10/09/26 - For sale is a late-war Springfield M1 Garand made in 1945 that was used by Denmark after WW2. The rifle has a nice dark, smooth phosphate finish on the receiver with light edge wear. The barrel has a brighter finish, having been replaced by the Danish military. The stock is a post-war Danish replacement in great condition overall with a nice dark color and some light scuffing on the surface. A serial number is stamped on the bottom in front of the sling loop, and there is a P stamp at the wrist. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is .5, and throat erosion is 0. The rifle is not parts correct. It comes with a web sling. A late-war Springfield Garand with an interesting post-war Danish service history.
