Description
09/24/26 - For sale is a Winchester Model 70 chambered in .257 Roberts, made in 1950. The rifle has a nice bluing throughout. The receiver had been hand-engraved and finished over after it had left the factory, and not by one of Winchester's Engravers. The stock is in great shape with a few handling marks and scratches. no cracks or breaks. Believed to be a commercial replacement as the pattern of the forward checking, the straight comb, and the peep sight cutout do not match factory Winchester configurations. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The trigger guard and magazine flor also have been replaced with an engraved example and have a gold inlay deer in the middle. Comes equipped with a Weaver K4-1 Scope.
