Description

3/24/22 - This is a nice example of a French SACM Model 1935A chambered in 7.65mm. It lacks Nazi waffen proofs and has an "E" serial prefix, indicating it was manufactured immediately after the Nazi occupation during WW2. It comes as a rig with one proper magazine and a modified 1942-dated Colt 1911A1 holster (fits the gun well). The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original black painted finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is scratching and small chips in the paint throughout. Comes with very nice black bakelite grips - a small area of verdigris on the left side. The bore has strong rifling but there are a few tiny areas of minor pitting.
