Description

4/11/22 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1914. The left side of the frame is "United States Property" marked and has the proper military inspection proof. The gun also has the correct "H P" barrel. It has retained about 96-97% of its original beautiful high polish Colt blue. Most of the wear is on the straps, so the profile views are minty. There is minor thinning on the front strap and one small spot of wear on the back strap. Some tiny scratches / handling marks on the right side of the slide. Tiny freckling on the grip straps. Comes with minty period-correct wood grips and one proper two-tone magazine. Excellent bore.
