4/13/22 - This is a nice example of a rare Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1940. It is all matching and has a police "Eagle C" proof on the right side of the slide. This is a rare variation, as they only made about 2,400 of this configuration. This one also has an added police sear safety and comes with a mismatched but period-correct police "Eagle C" marked magazine. The gun has lost most of its original bluing, retaining only about 40%. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there are areas of noticeable finish loss on the barrel and top of the slide as well. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Comes with matching-numbered grips - the checkering is worn around the edges. Excellent, shiny bore.
