Description
10/13/26 - This is a modern Uberti Italian remake of the Colt Texas Paterson revolver, manufactured in 1992 and chambered in .36 Caliber. Samuel Colt patented the original design in 1836 and built it in Paterson, New Jersey, and it went on to become the first commercially successful revolver, earning its reputation in the hands of Colonel John Hays and Captain Samuel Walker of the Texas Rangers. This one is made in the early style without a loading lever and has the folding trigger, a long octagonal barrel, and a roll-engraved scene on the cylinder. The gun has retained about 80% of its blued finish, with some areas of thinning and flaking along the barrel and on the front strap, as well as a few marks and scratches on the barrel. Color case-hardening remains on the back strap. Fitted with smooth walnut grips. A solid, honest example of a landmark early Colt design. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Black powder only, so no FFL required.
