Description
10/13/26 - This is a like-new example of a modern Uberti Italian remake of the Colt Texas Paterson revolver, manufactured in 1994 and chambered in .36 Caliber. Patented by Samuel Colt in 1836 and built in Paterson, New Jersey, the original Paterson was the first commercially successful revolver, and its use by Colonel John Hays and Captain Samuel Walker of the Texas Rangers helped put Colt on the map. This one is marked "Uberti USA - Lakeville CT, Made in Italy by A. Uberti" on the barrel and has the attached loading lever, folding trigger, and a nicely detailed stagecoach scene on the cylinder. The gun shows no notable signs of use or wear, with deep blue on the octagonal barrel, frame, and cylinder, set off by color case-hardening on the back strap and loading lever. Fitted with smooth walnut grips. A sharp reproduction of a landmark Colt design that displays beautifully. Minty bore. Black powder only, so no FFL required.
