Description
5/4/22 - This is a nice example of a scarce "660 Code" K98 rifle assembled by Steyr and issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The gun has been entirely arsenal-reworked and refinished. Generally, the parts are mismatched, but most of them were re-numbered at the arsenal to match the receiver - this includes the wood stock. Import mark on the barrel. Comes with a cleaning rod and a minty post-war leather sling. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are some areas of freckling under the finish, especially on the receiver. Light scratching on floor plate and trigger assembly. The stock has minor dings and bruises throughout. The bore is excellent with strong rifling.Specifications
