Description
5/10/22 - This is a nice example of a very early Walther PP manufactured in the first year of production, 1929 - this one was only the 432nd gun made! It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It has all of the correct early features, such as the heavy hammer, 90 degree safety, extended barrel, and early "X" back grips. It does however have a thin safety lever (not a fat lever), so that must have been replaced. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. Most of the wear is around the muzzle and around the high edges of the slide. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of pin-pricking throughout and some areas of minor pitting. Light brown patina on the grip straps. Comes with a proper early slab-side finger extension magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. The "7" in the serial number is faint from a light strike.Specifications
