Description
5/20/22 - This is a very nice example of a first variation Walther Model 8 sold in the commercial market in the early 1920's. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It has retained about 90% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the underside of the trigger guard, so the profile views are fairly nice. There is also minor wear around the high edges in general and around the muzzle. Some minor dulling in the finish on both sides of the slide. Comes with excellent early grips and a proper "large W" Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling with pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
