Description

6/17/22 - This is a really nice, honest example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 90% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap. Minor wear around the high edges in general and around the muzzle. Thinning on the barrel throughout the ejection port. Some light spotty wear along the right side of the slide. Tiny dots of oxidation along the barrel. Comes with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips (tops are cut down slightly) and a proper Mauser-marked magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
