Description

7/13/22 - This is an excellent example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of WW2, 1945. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It also has an asterisk marking on the left side of the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. The gun has retained about 94% of its original bluing. Almost all of the wear is on the front strap, where there are also tiny dots of brown patina. Comes with excellent reddish grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has strong rifling with hints of freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
