Description

7/17/22 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Government Model 1911 sold in the commercial market in 1917. It has retained about 93% of its beautiful Colt high polish bluing. There is minor wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There is also some light scratchy wear on both grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips and one proper two-tone magazine. High Standard "HS" barrel. The bore is excellent with strong rifling.
