Description

9/7/22 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser C96 chambered in 7.63mm. It is all matching and has an Imperial German proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was issued to the Imperial German military during WW1. It comes as a rig with a shoulder stock, leather harness, and a cleaning rod (all are reproductions). The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the grip straps, but there is also minor wear on the high edges of the frame, and some minor spotty wear along the barrel. Comes with very nice matching-numbered grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with an area of spotty oxidation.
