Description

12/15/22 - This is a nice, original Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig with the matching numbered stock. Different sources say the serial dates to 1905 or around 1912, but it's an early 1900's example with all matching numbers, including the grips. The bluing is excellent overall with very little finish loss, but there is some minor surface rust and freckling in several areas, mostly on the left side of the pistol. The bore has good rifling but frost and minor freckling throughout. No cracks or major chips in the grips. The stock is matching numbered to the pistol, but the wood was sanded at some point and the latching mechanism is missing one of the screws. The wood is in fairly good condition but there is a small crack in the back, and the lanyard ring is also missing from the metal.
