SOLD - 1941 Mauser K98 - BYF 41

10/11/22 - This is a nice example of a BYF 41 Mauser K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching except for the follower, floor plate, and the screws in the trigger assembly. Proper waffen military acceptance proofs throughout. The stock is properly waffen-proofed as well and is numbered to match the receiver. The gun is in nice condition overall. There is not much actual finish loss. However, the finish on the receiver and along the barrel is dull in general and there is light brown patina under the bluing throughout. Some areas of spotty oxidation along the barrel and on the floor plate / trigger assembly. Heavy brown patina on the butt plate. The stock is not in bad shape, but there are small dings, bruises, and scratches throughout. The bore is shiny with strong rifling with a few small dots of oxidation here and there.
