Description
7/31/25 - This is a nice example an original Mauser K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is completely matching, including the hand guard and stock. Correct Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout and the proper waffen stamps on the right side of the butt stock. The receiver has a "byf 41" maker code, indicating it was manufactured in the Mauser Oberndorf factory in 1941. The metal parts have lost the majority of their original finish with honest finish loss and light patina throughout. The stock also shows typical signs of wear - no major damage. The bore is very nice with good rifling.
