Description

9/27/22 - This is an excellent example of an Ithaca Field 1 1/2 Grade Side-by-Side Shotgun, manufactured in the early 1900's and chambered in 12 GA. The gun is all matching and in excellent condition overall. The barrels have retained most of their original bluing. There is just some minor thinning on the back half with some small dots of discoloration and pin-pricking. Beautiful case-hardening on the receiver. The wood stock is excellent. However, there are a couple of hairline cracks around the wrist and a small repaired chip in the foregrip. The bores are near-mint.
