Description

10/12/22 - This is an Arisaka Type 38 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is mismatched but does have a full intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. Comes with a cleaning rod and a leather strap that is torn on one end. There is very little finish loss on the gun overall. There is brown patina on the floor plate and some discoloration on the trigger group. The butt plate does not fit the stock perfectly, so it may have been replaced. The stock has the typical bruising throughout, and there is a repaired crack around the wrist. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with oxidation throughout.
