Description

12/8/22 - This is a nice example of an Arisaka Type 44 rifle issued to the Japanese military for WW2. The gun is mismatched and the imperial mum has been defaced and ground away. There is very little finish loss overall on the rifle but their is light brown patina throughout. Some thinning and spotty oxidation on the butt plate. The wooden stock is in good condition overall showing minor handling wear throughout and shallow nicks here and there. The rifle includes the original folding bayonet and a reproduction dust cover. The bore is fair-poor with obvious oxidation and pitting throughout.
