Description

3/26/25 - For sale is a Type 44 carbine made around or after WW1. The carbine shows plenty of wear and age. The metal has lost the majority of its finish, other than the bayonet assembly. The receiver has plenty of patina and old surface oxidation. The Imperial Mum is ground. The stock had some kind of damage that was sanded down as the area on the left side of the receiver is missing material and is smoothed over. Below the receiver has "Wells" written. The bore is somewhat bright but the rifling is worn. The rifle is mismatched, comes with an original dust cover.
