Description

12/23/22 - This is a very nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is wear around the muzzle and along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some thinning and brown patina on the front strap. There is also a small ding in the metal on the front strap. Comes with a set of excellent "Eagle 359" proofed grips and a numbered period-correct magazine that is not matching to the gun but is in the same "d" suffix serial block. The bore has good rifling with minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
