Description

1/17/23 - This is a rare Zero Series Walther P.38 - third variation. Manufactured in early 1940, this pistol is all original and matching. There were only ~9,550 of this variation produced, making up less than 1% of WWII P.38 production. The original bluing rates at roughly 80%. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also muzzle wear and light wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. All small parts are properly waffen marked. Both grips are numbered - the right grip is matching, the left is mismatched. Comes with a properly numbered magazine that is not matching to the gun. There is a GI number scratched into the frame under the right grip panel. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
