Description

3/28/23 - This is a nice example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 made at the very end of WW2. This is a GI mismatched gun, put together by an American GI when the Walther factory was liberated. All of the parts are mismatched and in the proper "c" serial block, correct for this variation. It also only has one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was never issued. It has a mixture of phosphate and blued parts, also correct for this variation. This one has retained about 92% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also some minor wear on the right side of the slide and a few small spots of discoloration here and there. Excellent reddish bakelite grips. Comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is not functional.
