Description
4/21/23 - This is a very nice example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 made at the very end of WW2. This is a GI mismatched gun, put together by an American GI when the Walther factory was liberated. All of the parts are mismatched and in the proper "c" serial block, correct for this variation. It also only has one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was never issued. It has a mixture of phosphate and blued parts, also correct for this variation. This one has retained about 90-92% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is around the muzzle and along the barrel, where the wear is somewhat scratchy. Minor thinning on the front strap and some pin-pricking along the right side of the slide. Excellent reddish bakelite grips. Comes with a fairly worn "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
