Description

1/12/23 - This is a rare Krieghoff Luger from 1936 with an S Code on the receiver. There were only about 3,600 of this variation produced. This one is all matching and has the proper Krieghoff "Eagle L 2" Luftwaffe acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on both grip straps, where there is also some light brown patina. There is thinning along the barrel and areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some small spots of discoloration on the left side of the frame. Fitted with an excellent set of period-correct "fine-checkered" Krieghoff grips. Comes with a mismatched Mauser magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking throughout.
