Description

2/1/23 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military acceptance proofs. The entire gun has been refinished and has a dull, almost parkerized finish. There is not much actual finish loss, but there is noticeable pitting under the finish along the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct "Eagle 359" Walther magazine. The bore is very nice with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
