Description
1/18/23 - This is an excellent example of an early Erfurt Luger from 1912, before the addition of the stock lug to the frame or a hold-open. There were only 25,000 Erfurt Lugers produced in 1912. It has all matching parts and all parts are Erfurt proofed, including the grip screws. It has retained about 96% of its original finish with areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some minor dulling and very light brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with nice matching-numbered and Erfurt-proofed wood grips - there is a small chip in the top left corner of the left panel. It comes with matching-numbered magazine. We believe this is a real Erfurt magazine that has been force-matched to the gun. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
