Description

1/26/23 - This is a nice example of an FN Browning Hi Power issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching, has the proper "Waffen 140" military acceptance proofs, and has an earlier tangent-style rear sight. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is very minor thinning and spotty oxidation on the grip straps. Very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. An area of pin-pricking around the muzzle and some very light freckling on the top of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper waffen proofed magazine (the marking is a little obscured, so we can't tell if it is a 140 or 103). The bore has good rifling with very minor frosting throughout.
