Description

3/3/23 - This is a beautiful example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1942. It is all-correct, has the proper "United States Property" marking, and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. The slide is numbered and matching to the frame. Proper Colt 45 Auto barrel with large "G" under the lug. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. It has retained essentially all of its parkerized finish with just a few tiny handling marks here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips. Comes with one proper "S" marked magazine. Stone-mint bore.
