4/11/23 - This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Karabiner 98 issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. The gun is entirely matching (including the stock) and has the proper Imperial proofs throughout. No import marks. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle and very minor wear on some of the high edges. Some small areas of very minor thinning here and there. Heavy spotty brown patina and oxidation on the butt plate. The wood furniture has no major damage, but shows typical signs of use. Mint bore.
