Description
5/17/23 - This is an excellent example of an Ithaca 1911A1 made toward the very end of the run, in 1945. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-canon cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. Correct High Standard barrel. The gun has retained about 95% of its parkerized finish with minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. Some thinning on the front strap. While there isn't a lot of actual finish loss, there is tiny freckling on most of the frame and an area of spotty surface oxidation on the top of the slide around the ejection port. Fitted with excellent period-correct grips and comes with an "L" marked magazine. Minty bore.Specifications
