Description
5/30/23 - This is a nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. All matching (except the extractor), has the proper Imperial proofs, and Erfurt proofs throughout. There are "Crown RC" markings on the barrel, slide, and toggle. It comes as a rig with a nice 1918-dated holster, two original matching-numbered magazines, and a Luger tool. The tool appears to have been Imperial proofed, but that marking has been peened. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its bluing. There are areas of wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Minor pitting on the side plate and right side rail. There is freckling and some light scratchy wear on the grip straps. Some light scratches on the side plate as well. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The rifling in the bore is worn with pitting throughout.Specifications
