Description
6/1/23 - This is an excellent example of a Webley Mark VI revolver issued to the British military in 1916. All matching with the proper British proofs throughout. This one has been arsenal refurbished and was released from military service to be sold in the commercial market, as evidenced by the "opposing broad arrow" markings. The gun was originally chambered in .455, but the cylinder has been shaved to accept .45 Caliber. There is almost no actual bluing loss, but there are a couple areas of minor pitting under the finish here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the frame. Fitted with very nice bakelite grips - some tiny handing marks on both sides. The majority of the bore is in like-new condition, but there is some very light freckling near the muzzle end.Specifications
