Description

5/31/23 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the side rails, and at the base of the front strap. There are some small spots of oxidation on the side plate and along the right side rail, where there is also some minor pin-pricking. A hint of thinning on the back strap. Fitted with excellent un-numbered, "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 655" proofed magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
