Description
6/6/23 - This is a nice example of a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. The barrel is mismatched to the rest of the gun and appears to have very faint British proofs. The entire gun has been nickel-plated. It has retained the majority of its finish, but there are micro-scratches throughout and a few small spots of oxidation and tiny pitting. Fitted with nice mother-of-pearl grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
