Description

6/6/23 - This is a beautiful example of a scarce "AC No Date" Walther P.38, manufactured in 1940. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. This particular gun has been entirely gold-plated and features a gorgeous Germanic oak leaf and acorn engraving throughout. This engraving was not done in the Walther factory. But from the level of detail and overall workmanship, this engraving was done professionally and appears to be in-period. It comes with two gold-plated magazines with engravings on the base plates. Comes displayed and protected in a very nice silk-line Walther presentation case. The gun itself has retained virtually all of its gold-plated finish. Fitted with nice post-war black plastic grips. Near-mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
