Description

6/14/23 - This is a very nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in January of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. There is what appears to be an "asterisk" marking on the left side of the frame. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the underside of the frame and on the front strap. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Light scratching along the right side of the slide. One tiny casting flaw on the left side of the slide. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
